Morningstar, Inc. a leading provider of independent investment research, last night announced the winners of its 2012 South Africa Fund Awards at a gala dinner held in Cape Town – recognising fund managers in South Africa who have demonstrated excellence in the past year in their stewardship of fund shareholder capital over the long term.
18 category awards are presented and STANLIB is proud to have scooped the following accolades:

- STANLIB Industrial Fund, winner of the
Sector Equity Consumer Goods & Services category (Theo Botha)
- STANLIB Global Property Feeder Fund, winner of the
Property – Indirect Global category (Keillen Ndlovu)
- STANLIB Property Income Fund, winner of the
Property – Indirect South Africa category (Keillen Ndlovu)
- STANLIB Global Bond Feeder Fund, winner of the
Global Bond category (Paul Hansen)
All the awards were for the best risk-adjusted performance within their Morningstar Categories or groupings of Morningstar Categories based on one-year and three-year periods to 31 December 2011.
