STANLIB Multi-Manager Inflation Plus 1 Fund of Funds

The primary investment objective of the portfolio will seek to achieve an investment medium for investors, which shall have as its main objective to preserve capital in the short term. Investment to be included in the STANLIB Multi-Manager Inflation Plus 1 Fund of Funds will, apart from assets in liquid form, consists solely of participatory interests and other forms of participation in portfolios of collective investment schemes registered in the Republic of South African or other similar schemes operated in territories with a regulatory environment which is to the satisfaction of the manager and trustee of a sufficient standard to provide investor protection at least equivalent to that in South Africa and which is consistent with the portfolio’s primary objective. STANLIB Multi-Manager Inflation Plus 1 Fund of Funds will be constructed within a moderately conservative risk framework using multiple asset classes as allowed by the Act from time to time, albeit that it may be more conservatively structured at times when the prospect for equities is uncertain. This portfolio will have the aim of preserving capital over any rolling 12 month period.
